PRG 420 Week 4 Individual Assignment Write a simple commission calculation program using IDE

Modify the Week Three Java™ application using Java™ NetBeans™ IDE to meet these additional and changed business requirements:

The application will now compare the total annual compensation of at least two salespersons.

It will calculate the additional amount of sales that each salesperson must achieve to match or exceed the higher of the two earners.

The application should ask for the name of each salesperson being compared.

The Java™ application should also meet these technical requirements:

The application should have at least one class, in addition to the application’s controlling class.

The source code must demonstrate the use of Array or ArrayList.

There should be proper documentation in the source code.

Submit your program (java code) along with the screen shots for both positive (by providing valid data as input) and negative testing (by providing invalid data as input) in a MS Word document.

Unformatted text preview: All of the companies daily activity is collected and stored for later use. It also lowers the chance of theft. By recording every transaction, it is harder to cheat the system than it would be if the company did everything manually. In my opinion, having the proper records if the company is audited is the most important. This keeps the company, management, and employees safe from fines and penalties. It is easier to make a mistake or misplace paperwork, but using this system keeps everything stored and easily accessible. Some of the disadvantages of the system is that with any computer, there is a risk of hackers, viruses, or faulty programs. If something were to happen to the system and all data is lost, it could be very costly for the company. The best way to protect yourself and the company is to always back up files.
