My Hero essay: Batman

Batman is my hero. He is a fictional hero; he was created by the artist Bob Kane and the writer Bill Finger. He made his first appearance in DC comics issue number 27 on May 1939. Since his first showing he has been in many comics but mainly in one made by DC. Batman goes by many nicknames. Some of them are: The Batman, the Bat-man, the caped Crusader, The Dark Knight, The bat, and many more. His true identity is Bruce Wayne, a billionaire who took over his father's company when his parents were shot by a homeless man.  The company is called Wayne industries and it is the biggest company in Gotham city, where Wayne lives. He is billionaire by day and hero by night.

Batman is a hero to me because I have learned many good things from him. He has showed me that it is better to care for everybody than just the people who are close to you. He has also taught me that you don't need powers to be a hero, and that even if you have a lot of money you should still go out of your way to help people who aren't as fortunate as you. He has also taught me some pretty sweet fighting moves. He is also my hero because he has always been my favorite super hero and I have always looked up to him. Batman was my favorite cartoon when I was a kid and The Dark Knight is my favorite movie. He is my hero because he stands for everything that is good in the world.

Batman is important to me because he has made me a better person. If I didn't watch Batman I would not be as caring for other people as I am now. I would lose my cool more often but I don't because Batman always stays calm and thinks through situations. An example is when I'm playing basketball, instead of just running up the court and shooting the ball, I think the whole situation through and try to find the best option. I never let other people get in my head, just like how Batman never lets the Joker get into his head. I don't let other people get in my head because I know that if they do it will only make me play worse. I have learned that all from Batman. He has inspired me to do good in the world and has taught me that I can do anything if I really work hard at it. I aspire to be like the Batman because I want to help people; I want to bring out the good in everybody, just like the Batman does. I aspire to be like Batman because he plays by his own rules, but stays true to his morals. I aspire to be like Batman because he is my hero.

I'd take Spider-Man's powers. Living in New York with his abilities, I would be able to own the city and do whatever I wished. It would keep me busy and give me an incredible picturesque view of the city. I'd experience life from a perspective without any restrictions.

If I were a super hero I would like to have powers to be able to help other people. One power would be to be able to resuscitate people that have died. I would also like to cure diseases like cancer, aids, and many more. I don't think strength will matter, just heart.

If I were a superhero I would want to have the ability to stop time! I need more time to work out and read and do all this homework and there isn't enough time in the day. If I could freeze time for an hour to run, or read the book I started a month ago. It would be so helpful and I would be able to spend more time with friends and family, instead of doing work for school.

If I were a superhero, my power would be to heal people so no more people would die of cancer or diseases. No one would have to pay thousands of dollars on hospital bills; which would help those who can't afford healthcare. If I had that power, life would be a lot easier for people

I would want the power to duplicate myself. I could be at two places at the same time. I could be eating pizza and my duplicate could be doing homework.

Eating. I would love to eat, and eat, and eat, and never gain any weight. This "power" would be nice because I would be able to full fill my never ending hunger. I would not struggle with any weight or health issues, but I would just eat to my stomach's content. Now, I know this probably would not benefit or contribute any good to the world as a whole, but it would definitely make me happy.

If I was a superhero and I could have any type of super power I would probably have to model my powers after Aqua man. He can live underwater and on land, and he can speak to fish along with being able to control water. Those have got to be the best super powers anybody could ask for.

If I was given the opportunity to possess any superhero power known to man, I would like to have the ability of making a person smile. I know that this power is not rare to find among people today, but it is still a wonderful and powerful gift to have. Mother Teresa once said "Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing." You can change a person's entire outlook on their day or even their life by simply smiling at them, or smiling with them. Either way, a smile can only benefit someone whether you wear it yourself, or helping them find theirs.

I would have the powers to do my homework in the blink of an eye and get all the answers right as long as I paid attention in that class period. I would also have speed and invisibility. I want the power of invisibility because there are days that I don't want to be seen because I don't feel very good and being invisible will help me a lot with those days.

If I was able to choose any superpower for myself, I'd choose to be able to duplicate myself. I am a very busy person, at times. When I am working, I usually want to be out with my friends. Sometimes, I'll ask for days off just to be with my girls, and if I could duplicate myself, I'd be able to have fun and be in another place doing what I really have to do.

If I were a superhero, I would have the power of telekinesis. I would be able to move things with my mind and also read other people's minds! It could come in handy!! I could read other people's minds and see if they were plotting to take over the world or something. I could move things with my mind and have less handy work. I could have much more energy to stop other evil villains!!!

If I were a superhero, I would like to have the power of reading minds. I would like to have that power because I could read my friends' minds when they are talking about me. I would also like to have that power because if someone is following me I will know what they are trying to do.

I would have certain powers that would only help me. I don't care if I sound selfish because that is the way most of the world is anyway. The powers that I would have would be to be able to read people's minds, but only when I want to because otherwise it would just get annoying. I would also have the power to tell the future and again I would have complete control over my powers.

Superheroes have at least one or two powers, but if I were a superhero, I would have seven powers. My first power would be to read minds from miles away or even of those who are close by. I would be able to block out the thoughts I don't want to hear, though. I would also have the power to see the future when something is decided. My other powers would be to heal fast, have turbo speed, and have super strength. I would also have the power to cause something or someone to endure pain. Mentally of course and only to those who hurt me in any way. Last but not least, I would have the power to fly and feel the wind hit my face as I soar freely in the air.
